A sipping day and night of metaphors and magic in the McLaren Vale is on offer this Sat.15 October 2011. Join Dr. Sandra Thibodeaux (Australian Poetry Poet-In-Residence) and Benjamin "IQ" Sanders (Muddy Rivers Slam & Melbourne Slam Champ) at Shingleback Wines for an afternoon of workshops and verse/vibe intensives worthy of SA's finest vintages.

Following the afternoon workshops feast on the scintillating dining at the Vineyard Kitchen, before enjoying a culturally uplifting Beer Stomp open mic at the best craft beer garden in the McLaren Vale.  As twilight approaches, check out the best of RebelSlam (SA) and Muddy Rivers Slam (VIC) mixing it up in a fun, frenetic, and fabulous poetry slam at Shingleback Wines in the inaugural Stumpy Invitational Poetry Slam.  

Enjoy the day's magic for $40/$30 or a half day for 20/$15. Slam only, well that is just a cool $10 to see the hottest poets on the mic. *Courtesy concession prices are on offer for any members of Friendly Street Poets, Australian Poetry, SA Writers Centre, VIC Writers Centre, Melbourne Poets Union, and Poetry Slam Inc.
